ジンファンデル好きの方にはまさに垂涎のワイン「ターリー」です。カリフォルニア最上、最強の、パーカー５★のジンファンデル生産者です。
一昨年暮れに日本市場に超久しぶりに復活となり、昨年２月上旬には初の日本正規入荷となったエステートのジンファンデルをご案内しました。そして今年１月にはターリー のフラッグシップの１つであるハイン・ヴィンヤードのプティ・シラーが超久しぶりの日本入荷を果たしました。しかもパーカー暫定１００点のおまけ付きでした。

長きに亘りワインメーカーを務めたアレン・ジョーダンは２０１２年にタリーを去りました。新ワインメーカーにはティーガン・バサラクアが就任。今年年明けにサンフランシスコ・クロニクル紙で”ワインメーカーズ・オブ・ザ・イヤー”に選出されました。またオーナー、ラリー・ターリーの娘クリスティーナ・ターリーが加わり、ターリーは世代交代の時期が訪れました。また、自社畑のオーガニック化（California Certified Organic Farmers）など、現在ターリーはいろいろと様変わりしています。しかし、変わらないのは相変わらずの高い評価でしょうか。。。
相変わらず日本へは少量の入荷です・・・売り切れ御免です・・・

前ヴィンテージで初のパーカー暫定パーフェクト（９６－１００点）を獲得したハイン・ヴィンヤードのプティ・シラーです！
「一流のエルミタージュ（パーカー）」と言われた、ターリーのフラッグシップです！
ハイン・プティ・シラーは今年１月に超久しぶりの日本入荷となりました。最後の販売は２００８年に販売した２００５年ヴィンテージでした。パーカー暫定パーフェクトを獲得した２０１２年に続き期待の２０１３年が入荷です。
セントヘレナ西に位置するハイン・ヴィンヤード。入植は１９０２年と伝えられています。プティ・シラーは、１９５３年にオッティ・ハインが大学から帰省中に父親と一緒に植え付けたとのこと。ターリーのハイン・プティ・シラーはカリフォルニアで最もユニークなワインの１つです。
「ヘッド・トレイン（コブレット仕立）、ドライ・ファーミング、オーガニック農法で栽培されるこのプティ・シラーはカリフォルニアで最もユニークな（偉大で個性的）ワインの１つだ。若いうちはパワフルでインクのようだが、年をとるにつれ女性化し、洗練され、私達の誰よりも長生きするだろう。」とラリー・ターリーはコメントしています。
優良年のハイン・プティ・シラーの熟成可能年は３０年とも４０年とも言われます。２０１２年ハイン・プティ・シラーは歴代最高のＷＡ９６－１００点を獲得しました。過去には、１９９９年がＷＡ９７点、１９９４年がＷＡ９７－９９点、１９９６年がＷＡ９６－９９点を獲得しています。
Lastly, and not yet bottled, the 2013 Petite Syrah Hayne Vineyard could possibly rival the near-perfection of the 2013 Pesenti Petite Syrah. Blueberry, blackberry, acacia flowers and almost gravelly alluvial notes jump from the glass of this full-bodied, massive, concentrated wine. The tannins are very high, but they are sweet and well-integrated. This should turn out to be a prodigious Petite Syrah to begin drinking in about 10-15 years and cellar for children and grandchildren over the following 30-50 or more years. Petite Syrah, if you haven’t guessed by now, is the quintessential anti-oxidant among red wines and has almost immortal aging potential. – Robert Parker, Wine Advocate #218 –

ターリーのもう１つのフラッグシップワイン、ハイン・ヴィンヤードのジンファンデルです！
「買ったことを忘れて１０年は寝かせるべき（パーカー）」と言われた、ターリーのもう１つのフラッグシップワインです！
セントヘレナ西に位置するハイン・ヴィンヤード。入植は１９０２年と伝えられています。プティ・シラーは、１９５３年にオッティ・ハインが大学から帰省中に父親と一緒に植え付けたとのこと。ターリーのハイン・ジンファンデルはナパ・ヴァレーにおけるジンファンデルの原型です。
優良年のハイン・ジンファンデルの熟成可能年はやはり３０年とも４０年とも言われます。日本入荷はありませんでしたが、前ヴィンテージ２０１２年はＷＡ９１－９３でした。２０１３年は、優良年２０１２年を越えるＷＡ９３－９５＋の評価です。過去には、２００１年がＷＡ９７点、１９９６年がＷＡ９７点を獲得しています。（ジンファンデル２大巨頭のマルティネリのジャッカス・ヒルがやはりＷＡ最高の９７点を獲得しています。）
Not yet in bottle is the 2013 Zinfandel Hayne Vineyard. Often a candidate for the top Zinfandel in any vintage (along with the Jackass Hill of Martinelli, a handful of Zinfandels from Carlisle, and more recently Bedrock and Limerick Lane), this wine from a vineyard on the west side of St.Helena tucked under the Mayacamas Mountains has been a staple of Turley’s brilliant winemaking for many, many years. These head-pruned, dry-farmed vines were planted in 1902 and 1903, and the wine seems to be a perfect messenger from them, providing power and elegance, no matter what the vintage differences are often negated by this extraordinary terroir. The 2013 has a dense ruby/plum color and is full-bodied mouthfeel, but (possibly because it is still a barrel sample) not showing the nuances that the bottled 2013s possess. It’s all there, and this wine seems loaded, but I suspect my comments and score are concervative based on what will ultimately turn out in bottle. – Robert Parker, Wine Advocate #218 –

久しぶりの入荷です！ターリーの入門編？とも言える「オールド・ヴァイン」ですが、ターリーを十分に堪能することができるワインです！
ナパ、ソノマ、ロダイ、コントラ・コスタ、アマドール、パソ・ロブレス、そしてメンドシーノと、カリフォルニアの様々なエリアの１８の畑の葡萄を使用。平均樹齢は８０年で、なかには１２０年を超える樹齢の樹も存在します。ワイルドベリー、ブラックベリーの風味を持つ濃縮感のある果実味とふくよかなタンニンを持ちます。
The 2013 Zinfandel Old Vines (15,5%) comes from tiny parcels too small to be bottled separately or relatively newer sites for Larry Turley that need to be monitored before they’re given separate vineyard designations. The 2013, which is essentially a multi-appellation blend from vines as young as 18 and as old as 80, comes from sites sprinkled over the entire Central and North Coast of California – Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, Lodi, Contra Costa, Amador, and Paso Robles. Dense ruby in color, with plenty of briary berry fruit, some earth, pepper and spice, and good acidity balancing out its power, it is fresh, pure, and not showing much oak. (Only about 20-35% new French oak is used in most of the cuvee.) This wine is already delicious, and should age nicely for another 5-8 years, possibly longer. – Robert Parker, Wine Advocate #218 –
